NEW MUSIC: Jordyn Rayne - “Hell Hound (Radio Edit)"

Jordyn Rayne is a 25-year-old pop/punk singer-songwriter based out of Edmonton. Best known for her powerful singing, wide vocal range, energy on stage and edgy performance style. Jordyn is the answer to what it would sound like if a female-led power rock band from the era of 2000s pop/punk came back with a modern twist. She is a confident female artist who advocates for women through her songwriting and lyricism. In 2025, Jordyn will be playing the Beaumont Music Festival and releasing a 6-song EP by the end of the year.

Jordyn just released her first pop/rock full-length album, “Lady,” in 2024. She was inspired by female artists like Avril Lavigne, Olivia Rodrigo, and Hayley Williams from Paramore. The whole album contains messages portraying societal issues such as the effects of social media, the view of femininity, and the effects of cyberbullying. Her first single leading up to the album, "Poser," has received remarkable radio success, being played on 102.3 NOW Radio and 89.3 The Raven a few times. It was played over 100 times on different radio stations and reached a #2 charting spot on Banks Radio Australia within its first week of release. Her title song for the album, "Lady," hit #10 on CJSR-Edmonton's Top 30 list in August.

Following the release of the album, Jordyn was invited to perform at the world-renowned Taste of Edmonton Festival, NextFest in Edmonton and the Magnificent River Rats Festival in Athabasca, Alberta. She has also received much coverage for her recent singles in The Edmonton Journal, The Gateway, and AltYeg Magazine. She also embarked on a short Alberta-based tour in the summer of 2024 called the “Here Comes The Rayne Tour.” The tour was a 10-stop adventure hitting Red Deer, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Fort McMurray, and Lloydminster.
