New WEAK13 single 'Hey You Down There'
Described as “An Incredible song that can reduce the strongest to tears”.; the second 2025 single ‘Hey You Down There’ by British band WEAK13 has already received huge praise from radio DJs; many of which have compared it to the likes of Pink Floyd and Queen; citing it as “…one of the best songs written by an independent artist in years’. Taken from the 2025 double album Aluminium’; the single and music video are out now.
In the wake of losing Ozzy Osbourne. Birmingham & Black Country band WEAK13 made the decision to delay their new single for a month "As we ourselves are based in the Midlands we felt that at a time of great mourning it would be disrespectful to promote our new single when everyone, including us, just wants to hear Ozzy's voice right now".

The song touches primarily on loss; singer and guitarist Nick J Townsend wrote the lyrics shortly after the death of his father. Nick stated "I wanted to write something beautiful but also, it was my aim to create a kind of healing through the music; so that if a person had to deal with death then maybe they can find a little comfort in the song" .
