RinRin Releases ‘Built Diff’ ft. Luck XO + Announces Debut Album on Year of the Rat Records

RinRin is the musical project of Filipino-born and Australian-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Qarin Hipe. Taking cues from luminaires BABYMETAL, Poppy and Bring Me The Horizon, RinRin creates her own unique brand of pop-punk and metal that expounds infectious energy. Since bursting onto the scene in 2020 with her debut single ‘The Game’, the 20-year-old has had a quick trajectory and shared stages with artists such as Windwaker, Redhook, Reliqa, The Plot In You, ERRA, Caskets, The Home Team, and To Octavia. More recently she joined Walk-Off The Earth's 6 city arena tour in China in April 2024. In her rapid rise, RinRin has recently signed to Year Of The Rat Records and since seen support from BBC Radio 1 Rock Show, Metal Hammer, MTV Gonzo, Triple J, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora and Deezer. The next single ‘built diff’ ft. Luck XO is released 20th June 2025, and the artist also announces details for her debut album ‘The Nut House’ which will be released on 12th September 2025. 

In this RinRin multiverse chapter, mech combat is the world’s obsession—where entertainment meets warfare in massive arena domes. “Built Diff Rin,” a Rinnite-powered pilot with white hair and black robotic horns, is both a champion fighter and underground music icon. Alongside her battle partner, Luck XO, they command sound-powered mechs—Rin’s guitar-themed and rhythm-charged; Luck’s wielding a bass-blasting hammer. Their rise peaks at the global mech championship, where battles blur into live performances. Amid flashing lights and roaring crowds, the duo crushes elite teams and steals the spotlight, proving what Rin has always known: she was built different.
