Just who or what is STAGBOY ?!1?!?!?!?
Well, I’ll tell you, STAGBOY is an alternative pop fever dream of art, music and animation.
The story goes that STAGBOY WAS KIDNAPPED by La Sierra Casa songwriting camp in Spain where they have spent the past two years recording their debut album and working with some of music's finest veterans including, Kyle Falconer (The View), Carl Barat (The Libertines), Ryan Lawrie (BTS) and many more industry icons! The album was mixed by grammy award winning mix engineer Matt Lawrence (Lady Gaga, Beyonce) and was mastered by Simon Francis (Kylie Minogue).
The first single by STAGBOY 'Voodoo' is set for release on the 31st of October being the first of many alternative pop bangers coming your way.
The STAGBOY world exists beyond music as the story of the songs and the journey continue in a crazy world of art and animation!

The new track ‘Voodoo’ lives up to its name as it weaves and casts its spell over you with its strumming guitars and ever present synths swirling around you in a haze of mystery turning you in a spin of bewilderment while the Voodoo lyrics chant and caress you, teasingly inviting you to join the movement that is STAGBOY.

Following a recent sold out show at King Tuts supporting The Castros numerous shows supporting Kyle Falconer, STAGBOY will play their debut headline show for the ‘Voodoo’ single launch party at The Poetry Club, Glasgow on Halloween with support from Dovv and Robin Ashcroft. You can expect themed fancy dress plus extra special guests!
