KLÄMP - TOTAAL TECHNIEK album out now on Human Worth

Human Worth are proud to present the immense new album TOTAAL TECHNIEK from KLAMP, with a portion of all proceeds donated to charity.

KLAMP is a formidable musical collective with members spread across the UK and the Netherlands. Originally a trio, the group has expanded over the past four years and now comprises seven members, featuring both current and former musicians from renowned bands including IDLES, Sex Swing, Tall Ships, Manatees, Do Me Bad Things, Pulled Apart By Horses, Petbrick, and Mugstar. This diverse musical heritage infuses KLAMP’s sound with a dynamic blend of influences.

Since their raw and antagonistic 2020 release Hate You on God Unknown, KLAMP has undergone a significant transformation. Their 2025 incarnation presents a vastly evolved force, with their latest album TOTAAL TECHNIEK, released on Human Worth, standing as a testament to their artistic growth. This record spans Krautrock, Breakcore, Industrial, and Post-Punk, with each track offering a fresh sonic journey filled with intricate musical textures.

Evolution & Collaborators

A key aspect of KLAMP’s development is their expanding roster of collaborators. What began as a lineup featuring Jason Stoll (Sex Swing / Mugstar / JAAW), Lee Vincent (Pulled Apart By Horses), and Greg Wynne (Manatees), has grown to include Adam Devonshire (IDLES), Matthew Parker (Tall Ships), Rachael Morrison, and Wayne Adams (Petbrick / Big Lad), alongside other contributors. This evolution has propelled their music into new territories—beautiful yet bleak, harsh yet euphoric, sometimes all at once. Their openness to collaboration keeps their sound fresh, ensuring no two performances or recordings are ever alike.

KLAMP’s live shows are particularly notable for their intensity and unpredictability, delivering audiences a mind-bending exploration of music and emotional depth.

For Fans of…

KLAMP is a haven for listeners who thrive on eclectic and avant-garde sounds. Fans of Swans’ sonic intensity, Parquet Courts’ angular rhythms, The Fall’s post-punk edge, and DJ Screw’s genre-defying beats will find much to love. Similarly, those drawn to My Bloody Valentine’s lush soundscapes, Einstürzende Neubauten’s industrial grit, and Low’s atmospheric depth will resonate with KLAMP’s work.

Their music also carries cinematic influences from John Carpenter and David Lynch, alongside the raw power of Nine Inch Nails and Sonic Youth, the electronic pulse of Front 242, the minimalist punk of Wire, and the epic crescendos of Godspeed You! Black Emperor—all merging within KLAMP’s diverse sonic universe.

Pushing Boundaries

In essence, KLAMP is not just a band but a continually evolving collective, redefining the boundaries of music. Their journey from a three-piece to an innovative seven-piece ensemble cements them as one of the most exciting and unpredictable acts on the scene today.
