Oklahoma City hard rockers Aranda share single ‘You Don't Wanna Know’

Band Bio

Aranda is a hard rock/post-grunge band from Oklahoma City, formed in 2001 by brothers Dameon Aranda (lead vocals/guitar) and Gabe Aranda (lead vocals/keyboards). The group has built a 20-plus-year career on raw emotion, soaring melodies, and relentless touring. Their breakthrough came with the 2008 self-titled debut on Astonish Entertainment, spawning two Top 40 Active Rock hits: “Still in the Dark” (#31) and “Whyyawannabringmedown” (#26). The latter was covered by Kelly Clarkson for her platinum album All I Ever Wanted and served as the theme for WWE’s The Bash. Signing with Wind-up Records, Aranda released Stop the World (2012), their commercial peak. It delivered three Top 40 singles —“Undone” (#24), “Satisfied” (#14), and “One More Lie” (#15)—and earned a RadioContraband Indie Artist of the Year nomination. Not the Same (2015) followed, debuting at #12 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart with “Don’t Wake Me” (#17) and “We Are the Enemy” (#18). After going independent, they issued Recollections of a Painted Year (2022) and, in 2025, scored a #33 hit with “Punch Out,” a collaboration with A.D.A.M. Music Project. Road warriors from the start, Aranda has toured with Buckcherry, Sevendust, Saving Abel, Theory of a Deadman, Daughtry, 3 Doors Down, Halestorm, Shinedown, Staind, Papa Roach, Stone Temple Pilots, and more. They’ve rocked festivals like Rocklahoma (2010) and Rock on the Range (2016), and in 2025 launched the Summer of 2025 tour across nine U.S. cities with Austin Winkler.

From a deal with Epic Records to indie resilience, Aranda’s seven Top 40 Active Rock singles, Clarkson covers, and stages shared with rock royalty cement the brothers’ legacy as a vital, enduring force in American rock.
