rør's (DK) new single 'true friends' is an ode to teenage naivity

‘true friends’ is a bright and sparkling pop gem, shimmering with cotton-candy synth melodies, midi guitars and energetic, Timbaland-style basslines. The title is a reference to Hannah Montana’s ‘True Friend’, and the song in it's entirety, is an ode to the teenage naivity, the fictional pop star represents.

'true friends' is "written as a nostalgic glance back at my slightly naïve teenage self", rør explains. "It’s fun, it’s cringey, it’s therapeutic—and it gives me a tiny escape from the dizzying chaos of the world today". If you're into acts such as Oklou, Aqua and The Bird, you'll like this one for sure!
